• I appeared on an episode of the podcast FURY by Critical Frequency. I talked about “what both the Obama and Trump elections meant for me as a Black woman.”

• I was interviewed by BLEEP Magazine. Fun Fact: BLEEP was one of my very first writing jobs. My first feature appeared six years ago!

• I performed in four different readings: the first one was a reading in a park with Kevin Sampsell, Foster Rudy, and Kara Vernor, among others; the second one was opening for David Sedaris (second time doing so!); third one was at LitCrawl, representing Powell’s Books; the fourth time was at MindMeld, an event hosted by Mark Savage. Wowza!

• I was featured as Powell’s Portrait of a Bookseller for the month of August!
